This initiative aims to tap into and harness the substantial agricultural potential, particularly in palm oil production.

Governor Eno made this announcement during a special church service commemorating the 75th birthday of Apostle John Okoriko and the 49th anniversary of the Solid Rock Kingdom Church (SRKC). He emphasized the importance of involving the private sector in governmental policies and programs.

The choice of Ibekwe Akpanyah community for the mill’s location is intended to complement the already extensive oil palm plantation established by the Solid Rock Church, under the leadership of Apostle Okoriko.

Additionally, it will offer various levels of processing services for other oil palm farmers in the region. The governor assured that the mill would replicate the successful Songhai Farms model.

He stated, “It’s a full mill. My team, which visited the Songhai Integrated Farm with me, observed that mill. I wanted to create a model, so now that I have seen a private farm here, we will establish a model here to support you, the women in this area, in continuous production and government’s initiatives.”
