Pastor Shyngle Wigwe, the grieving father of the late bank executive, Herbert Wigwe, has publicly shared his sentiments following the tragic loss of his son, daughter-in-law, and grandson.

The heartbreaking incident occurred on February 9 when Herbert, along with his wife Chizoba and son Chizzy, lost their lives in a fatal helicopter crash in California.

During a condolence visit by a delegation led by the President of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Emmanuel Iwuanyawu, at his residence in Isiokpor, Rivers State, the 89-year-old father of the deceased bank CEO expressed gratitude to God for blessing him with the joyous presence of Herbert for 57 years.

“As a child of God, I am thankful for the precious gift of Herbert. His presence in my life brought immense joy for 57 years, and though it saddened me deeply when he was called home, I find solace in knowing that he is not truly gone, but has transitioned to another realm,” Pastor Shyngle shared emotionally.

He reminded his visitors of the transient nature of life on earth, likening it to a temporary market where individuals come to fulfill their purposes before returning home.

Late Herbert Wigwe, along with his wife and son, has been laid to rest in their hometown of Isiokpor, Rivers State.
