The corps member, identified as Raye and reportedly serving in Lagos State, had taken to her TikTok handle to criticize President Bola Tinubu, calling him a “terrible president.” She lamented the soaring prices of essential goods, noting that a crate of eggs now costs over ₦6,000, alongside the rising cost of transportation. She also complained that the current NYSC allowance was insufficient due to the high cost of living.

Raye alleged that Lagos NYSC management threatened her, demanding that she take down the video from her social media.

In response to the reported threat, Rhodes-Vivour condemned the attempt to silence her, emphasizing that Nigerian youths are experiencing severe hardship.

Posting on his handle on Sunday, he wrote:
