The interview began with Chief Iwuanyanwu discussing a symbolic meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his residence in Owerri, Imo State. While emphasizing the critical state of Nigeria, he acknowledged the government’s recent steps in addressing public concerns, such as suspending individuals under investigation and reducing the president’s entourage during foreign visits.

Moving on to broader issues, Chief Iwuanyanwu delved into the historical context of Nigeria’s amalgamation in 1914. He pointed out that the country’s survival hinged on managing its diverse ethnicities, emphasizing the need for a true federal constitution instead of the current unitary system. He argued that without proper restructuring, Nigeria would continue to face challenges.
