Insecurity: Governor Sani Expresses Concern, Highlights Ongoing Dialogue with President Tinubu

In the wake of escalating insecurity plaguing Nigeria, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has disclosed the active involvement of President Bola Tinubu in addressing the pressing issue.

The recent abduction of over 300 students and a school principal from LEA Primary and Junior Secondary School, Kuriga, Kaduna State, on March 8, followed by another abduction of 86 individuals in Tantatu and Aguba communities, underscores the gravity of the security challenges facing the nation.

During an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today, Governor Sani emphasized Tinubu’s apprehension regarding the alarming state of insecurity, revealing that he engages in regular discussions with the President, updating him twice daily on the security situation in Kaduna State.

Acknowledging President Tinubu’s commitment to resolving the crisis, Governor Sani expressed confidence in the collective efforts of the government and security agencies to quell the unrest. He underscored the President’s proactive approach, indicating frequent inquiries from Tinubu, reflecting his deep concern and determination to address the security crisis.

Governor Sani further highlighted the recent engagement with the National Security Adviser (NSA) and service chiefs, affirming their shared concern and dedication to combating insecurity nationwide. He reiterated his faith in President Tinubu’s leadership, expressing optimism that with concerted efforts, the nation will overcome these challenges in due course.
