He clarified during an interview with ChannelsTV on Monday evening that the President’s actions were motivated by the desire to prevent the escalation of local disturbances into a nationwide crisis.

According to Ngelale, as the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Tinubu is committed to ensuring the safety of the Nigerian people and maintaining a stable environment free from insecurity. If a political crisis poses a threat to national security by generating manmade insecurity, the President deems it necessary to intervene.
