Lagos Dolphin Estate Underbridge Landlord Reveals Connections With Local Authorities....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The alleged ringleader of the group managing underbridge accommodations in Lagos’ Dolphin Estate, Gbenga Oluwafemi (also known as Mopol), has asserted his familiarity with influential figures, including estate chairpersons and individuals in positions of authority within the estate.

Oluwafemi refuted claims of demanding an annual rent of N250,000 from occupants of the 86 partitioned spaces recently demolished by the Lagos State government. Speaking in a recorded telephone conversation with News Central, shared on the platform’s X account, he revealed that the container, demolished near the bridge, had been in place for approximately fifteen years, installed during the previous government’s tenure.

According to Oluwafemi, his group provides security for the streetlights in the area. He alleged that Festus Keyamo, the current Minister for Aviation, had encountered them during the previous administration, expressing concern about their well-being, especially during inclement weather. As a result, a shelter was constructed for them.

Oluwafemi emphasized his close ties within Dolphin Estate, stating, “No estate chairman in Dolphin Estate will say he did not know me.” He also claimed acknowledgment from influential figures within Lagos State residing in the area.

Regarding the rent collection allegations, Oluwafemi stated, “I have never refunded any money to anybody. I don’t think I’ve… If I am collecting N250,000 from anybody I will not be in that place again.”
