A video capturing the poignant final moments of veteran Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, before his demise on Saturday, has surfaced….READ ALSO

In the video circulating across social media platforms, the late actor can be seen in his hospital bed expressing gratitude to singer Rudeboy of P-Square just hours before his passing.

Reflecting on life’s inevitabilities, Mr Ibu acknowledges the divine timing of events, stating, “When the time comes, it has come.”

Addressing Rudeboy, he says, “Rudeboy, words fail me. However, everything unfolds according to God’s timing. Indeed, when the appointed time arrives, it cannot be delayed.”

In a lighthearted moment, Mr Ibu jests with Rudeboy, “If, by any chance, you fail to make it to heaven, don’t forget to summon me. You will undoubtedly ascend to heaven, and we shall revel in the company of angels, sharing a meal together.”

Anticipating the incredulity of onlookers, he adds, “People may wonder, ‘How is this possible? Aren’t Ibu and P-Square from different lineages?’ But mark my words, our heavenly reunion is assured, transcending earthly ties.”

Mr Ibu’s passing, attributed to cardiac arrest, occurred at the age of 62.
