While presiding over Monday’s FEC gathering at the State House Council Chambers, Tinubu sternly warned against unauthorized individuals gaining access to the Council Chambers.

Tinubu also expressed unwavering confidence in his choice of Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, and cautioned against further negative campaigns targeting him.

“Let me emphasize that there are various rumors circulating about recent developments. I want to remind everyone that I am human, and I may make mistakes.

Additionally, a moment of silence was observed by the Council in memory of Alhaji Adamu Fika, a former FEC member and one-time Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, who passed away at the age of 90.

At the time of this report, the FEC meeting had gone into a private session, with the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume; Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan; Chief of Staff to the President, Honourable Gbajabiamila; National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; and all the ministers in attendance.
