Legal Representative Of Nnamdi Kanu Highlights Contradiction In Hunt For Biafra Advocates vs. Boko Haram Pardons....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Aloy Ejimakor, the chief legal representative for Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), expressed irony regarding the Nigerian government’s actions. Ejimakor highlighted the paradox of declaring individuals wanted for advocating Biafra’s independence while simultaneously releasing numerous detained terrorists.

The Nigerian Defence Headquarters recently declared Chika Edoziem, the Head of IPOB’s Directorate of State, along with 96 others, including other Biafra secessionists, wanted for various crimes, including terrorism and insurgency. Additionally, Simon Ekpa, who claims leadership of Biafra from Finland, was listed as wanted.

In contrast, a Federal High Court in Borno ordered the immediate release of around 313 detained suspected Boko Haram terrorists arrested by the military due to lack of evidence for prosecution.

Ejimakor expressed bewilderment at the government’s decision to release terrorism suspects while pursuing Biafra agitators. He noted the inconsistency as further evidence of the injustices contributing to Nnamdi Kanu’s continued detention.

In his statement, Ejimakor emphasized the contradiction, stating, “It’s an oxymoron for the Army to declare someone wanted for seeking a separate State & turn around to free hundreds of terrorists, all in the same week. It’s another stark evidence of the horrendous injustice that is responsible for the continued detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
