“Megacity Builders Must Start From Going To LUTH”- Rufai Reacts To Bill Which Bans Nigerian Doctors Travelling Abroad, Shades Tinubu

Popular Tv Anchor of Arise Television, Oseni Rufai have reacted to a bill currently being prepared by lawmakers to ban to travelling of Nigerian doctors for at least five years after studying medicine.
Although the bill has not yet been passed it has sparked controversy amongst Nigerians of different gender, age grade, ethnic group, and religion who may or may not be affected by it. The purpose is to curb the Japa rate which has led to a massive reduction of our health workers. CONTINUE READING

The problem majority of Nigerians are having with lawmakers is that they have not passed out medical tourism bills because they benefit from it. Just take a look at the outrageous bill passed by the Delta State House of Assembly a few days ago under Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration, those are the real issues and have to be resolved for the growth of this nation, not Health workers travelling abroad.
Oseni Rufai via his Twitter handle condemned the bill and shaded the President-elect who claimed built Lagos but yet travelled to France for treatment according to People’s Gazette.
His Tweet reads;
“They will never pass a bill to ban medical tourism for politicians all they do is pass bills to impede the progress of Doctors. If politicians truly love Nigeria they should start by banning medical tourism.”
“Why are big politicians no Dey go hospital for mega city.Our megacity builders must start from going to LUTH. It will affirm that they truly built the mega city, by the way the megacity is pitch dark, no too much working street light ooo.”
