Scheduled to kick off from June 14th to July 14th this year, Euro 2024 will be hosted by Germany.
During an appearance on the Vibe with Five podcast on Thursday, Mourinho also identified England as strong contenders for the trophy, citing the talent within their squad, including players like Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane.
“It’s a very promising generation,” Mourinho commented. “Having reached the Euro 2020 final, they have the potential to repeat that feat.”
Mourinho further highlighted the impact of English players venturing abroad, singling out Jude Bellingham as an example. He suggested that such experiences could set them apart from their counterparts who have solely developed within the English system.
While expressing his admiration for England’s prospects, Mourinho maintained his allegiance to Portugal, expressing his belief in their ability to clinch the title.
