Natasha Drops Surprise TikTok With Tinubu’s Hit Song – Fans React Wildly

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, has sparked a flurry of online reactions after posting a TikTok video set to the trending song “Omo Ologo,” a track now widely associated with President Bola Tinubu.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The 15-second clip, uploaded on May 8, shows the senator smiling subtly while playfully engaging with the camera — a move that drew both amusement and scrutiny from netizens.
The background track, “Omo Ologo,” performed by Kano-based singer Dauda ‘Rarara’ Kahutu during a dinner event in Katsina on May 3, has grown into a political and cultural anthem. The song was a tribute to Tinubu, hailing him as a victorious leader who has risen above his detractors. It features a mix of Yoruba and Hausa lyrics, including: “Olorire Olorire Bola Asiwaju Omo Ologo…”
President Tinubu, along with other dignitaries, was present at the Katsina dinner held during his official two-day visit to review the region’s security situation.
Akpoti-Uduaghan captioned her TikTok post: “Just for fun, song choked.” While some interpreted this as a lighthearted moment, others speculated about possible political subtext, especially considering her ongoing friction with Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Recently, the senator published a satirical apology to Akpabio on Facebook, accusing him of punishing her for “maintaining dignity and self-respect.” The post, accompanied by a short video, triggered legal backlash from Akpabio’s team, who petitioned a federal high court to order its removal.
In response, her legal counsel, led by Jubril Okutepa, filed a counter-affidavit accusing Akpabio of using legal means to suppress and intimidate her. The court is set to rule on the matter by May 12.
Akpoti-Uduaghan’s political path has been fraught with controversy, notably her March suspension from the Senate following a dispute in the chamber, and her subsequent allegation of sexual harassment against Akpabio.
