Dickson made the remark on Sunday while formally receiving former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, and his Kano State counterpart, Rabiu Kwankwaso, into the party.
He described the NDC as a united platform free from internal litigation and factional disputes.
Speaking at the event, Dickson said the party had gained significant support within a short period, crediting its growing membership to public confidence in its vision.
He stated, “On behalf of the leaders of our party and our members across the country who, in the past five months, have defied all odds and overcome doubts to support this vision, I sincerely welcome you all to the NDC and to my humble home.”
He further noted that despite being relatively new, the NDC was determined to compete strongly in the political space.
“I welcome you to Nigeria’s fastest-growing political party and its most stable platform,” he added.
Dickson also described Obi and Kwankwaso as highly qualified political figures, adding that the party’s full procedures and structure would be unveiled in due course.
Meanwhile, Obi urged party members to avoid internal disputes and legal battles that could weaken the platform.
He said, “Please let there be no litigation. Party members should avoid going to court. We are here to build a party, not to become lawyers.
