New Testimony Unveils N4.6 Billion Linked To Bafarawa’s Son In ONSA Arms Deal Case....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

During the trial-within-trial of former Sokoto State governor Attahiru Bafarawa and four others, the second prosecution witness, Hamza Abdullahi (PW2), revealed to Justice Y. Halilu of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, High Court, that a substantial sum of N4.633 billion was traced to Dalhatu Investment Limited’s account. This company had Bafarawa’s son, Sagir Attahiru Bafarawa, and another individual named Nasir as directors, with Sagir serving as the sole signatory to the account.

Abdullahi, who served as the second-in-command of the Special Task Force, Fraud Investigation on Arms and Defence Equipment Procurement in the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) in 2015, disclosed that they scrutinized 78 companies receiving funds from ONSA without valid justification, among which Dalhatu Investment Limited was included.

Sagir came with his lawyer, acknowledged the evidence presented, and later provided detailed information voluntarily.

The defendant pledged to furnish the investigation team with a thorough analysis of the beneficiaries of the funds linked to his account, indicating his cooperation.
