During the workshop, Mr. Andy Odeh, NLNG’s General Manager of External Relations and Sustainable Development, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to empowering journalists with the necessary skills to effectively share stories that resonate in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.

The inception of the workshop dates back to 2015, involving eight journalists in its first #NLNGChangeYourStory workshop.
The workshop, led by seasoned multimedia journalist Mr. Dan Mason, in collaboration with The Journalism Clinic under Mr. Taiwo Obe (TO), proved transformative for participating journalists.
Leveraging their extensive expertise, the experts guided participants through the intricacies of digital communication and social media, enabling them to take charge of their narratives and shape the nation’s stories.
Furthermore, according to a statement by NLNG’s Acting Manager of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, Yemi Adeyemi, the #NLNGChangeYourStory workshop, benefiting over 90 journalists since its inception in 2015, has significantly enhanced participants’ digital communication and social media prowess.
This workshop stands as a remarkable testament to the transformative influence of state-of-the-art training.
Among the participants was Bode Gbadebo, LEADERSHIP’s online editor, who emerged with boosted confidence and skills to embrace digital communication and social media.
