In his statement, he addressed the customs department, stating, “Let us tell ourselves the truth. You Customs are the ones that have spoiled Nigeria. You are the ones who will cause trouble for this government. The condoms you grant approval for them to be shipped into the country are not of good quality. They get torn even before you use them. What is the problem? Sometimes the condoms get torn when a man wants to ejaculate. You people should be checking them so that all the condoms being brought into the country are of standard control because right now, condoms are the problems of Nigerians.”

He further expressed concern about the odor emanating from the inside of condoms, likening it to the smell of oil used to fry eggs. Fabiyi emphasized that the perceived poor quality of condoms contributes to the challenges faced by Nigerians, leading to unplanned pregnancies.
