Ailing Nigerian comic actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, has passed away at the age of 62. According to multiple reports from sources close to him, the veteran comedian breathed his last at Evercare Hospital.
Numerous fans have expressed their condolences on various platforms, fondly recalling the movies in which the late actor featured.
Bushradiogist previously reported in November that the family of Mr. Ibu disclosed the actor’s undergoing seven surgeries. To sustain his hope of survival, one of his legs was amputated. The family had mentioned that the actor had successfully undergone five surgeries and was scheduled to be flown abroad for further treatment before his eventual demise.
