It would be recalled that the three judges-designate, Ojo Maureen Osa, Godwin Jeff Okundamiya and Edoghogho Eboigbe, were amongst the eight candidates cleared and recommended for appointment as Judges in the State Judiciary by the National Judicial Council in June 2023 but were however left out during the swearing in process in May, 2024 by the Administration of former Governor Godwin Obaseki.
