Osinbajo recalled a meeting with Wigwe on February 1 at his home, where they discussed the vision of Wigwe University, collaborations with Ivy League universities, research objectives, a scholarship scheme for bright students facing financial constraints, and the community benefits of the university’s infrastructure, including roads and a power plant.
During their conversation, Wigwe also outlined initiatives aimed at providing opportunities for young people nationwide, particularly focusing on sustainability and climate action. Osinbajo highlighted Wigwe’s understanding of the profound concept that serving humanity is akin to serving God.
Describing Wigwe’s approach as “thoughtful, progressive, and compassionate,” Osinbajo praised him for quietly accomplishing great deeds.
