Police Release Crypto Billionaire Blord After Brief Detainment

According to a statement from Force Public Relations Officer Olumuyiwa Adejobi on Tuesday, BLord was apprehended for alleged offenses including internet fraud, terrorism funding, and violations of the CBN Act, following complaints against him and his companies.

Adejobi assured that the police would conduct thorough investigations into the allegations to ensure the safety and security of Nigeria’s cyberspace.

“The FCID (NPF-NCCC) is presently investigating complaints against BLORD GROUP, BLORD REAL ESTATE LTD, BLORD JETPAYE LIMITED, and BILLPOINT TECHNOLOGY,” the statement read.

In a subsequent update that quickly spread online, VeryDarkMan indicated BLord’s release after extensive appeals.

“After much pleading and emotional appeals, BLord has been released. He is expected to return next week to address all alleged charges. I trust @npf_nccc will ensure justice prevails. See you next week, Mr. Influential,” VeryDarkMan posted.

Meanwhile, BLord Group denied the arrest allegations, clarifying that BLord was only invited for questioning.
