Nigeria’s Presidential Jet Eagle 001:
The Nigerian presidential jet, Eagle 001, is a Boeing Business Jet 737-7 Presidential aircraft used by the President of Nigeria for official travel. The aircraft is operated by the Nigerian Air Force and is equipped with state-of-the-art communication and security systems to ensure the safety and comfort of the president and other high-ranking government officials on board.
Eagle 001 has been in service since 2011 and is one of the most advanced presidential jets in Africa. It is capable of traveling long distances without refueling and can accommodate up to 100 passengers, including the president, his family, and members of the Nigerian government.
The jet has been the subject of some controversy in Nigeria due to its high cost and perceived extravagance. However, supporters argue that it is necessary for the president to have a secure and reliable means of transportation for official travel both within Nigeria and abroad.
