allegations made by Chibuike Ikenga regarding a supposed alliance between former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, Atiku Abubakar, and Governor Siminalayi Fubara to undermine President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a recent statement, Darlington Nwauju, the Publicity Secretary under Beke’s leadership, described Ikenga’s claims as malicious and lacking evidence, labeling them as “tales by moonlight.” Nwauju criticized Ikenga for attempting to tarnish Amaechi’s reputation and stir discord within the APC and between Fubara and President Tinubu.

He also highlighted Ikenga’s previous actions of blackmail to gain political patronage, emphasizing the APC’s commitment to countering such tactics with truth. Nwauju dismissed Ikenga’s claims, asserting that they are entirely baseless without any substantial evidence.

This situation reflects ongoing political tensions within the Rivers State APC and broader discussions surrounding the unity and leadership dynamics within the party.
