She expressed concern that sex workers are undermining the value of hard work and legitimate businesses.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Say My Piece podcast, Lolo 1 noted that the increasing openness of sex workers about their profession reflects a significant moral decline in society.
She remarked, “If you can boldly admit to being a sex worker, brag about getting money, buying cars, and even houses through such means, how do you expect the average person to perceive hard work? They are diminishing the importance of effort, growth, and legitimate labor. I constantly remind women around me that their bodies are not marketplaces. Maybe I’m part of a generation that’s slowly fading away.”
Lolo 1 further lamented the loss of societal shame, adding, “If people can openly admit this as their means of livelihood, perhaps we should reconsider and even legitimize prostitution since it’s now publicly acknowledged without remorse.”
