Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, Chief Uche Nnaji, has emphasized the need for gender equality in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). During his speech on the occasion of this year’s International Day for Women and Girls in Science, themed “Women and Girls in Science Leadership — a New Era for Sustainability,” Nnaji acknowledged that despite progress, achieving gender equality in STEM remains a challenging objective.
