In a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja, Senate Spokesman Yemi Adaramodu asserted that the 10th Senate has not received any financial benefits from the presidency. He emphasized that salaries and allowances for Senators are set by the Revenue Mobilisation Fiscal Allocation Commission, in line with constitutional provisions, and this information has been publicly accessible.

Adaramodu also addressed public discourse surrounding constituency projects, clarifying that Senators merely suggest and nominate these projects, a practice common in many democracies.
