She Should Keep Enduring It — Woman Dies After Repeated Domestic Abuse
A woman has reportedly lost her life after allegedly enduring repeated physical abuse in a relationship she had rekindled with a former partner, according to a disturbing account shared by a man.
According to Bush Radio Academy, the narrator claimed that the woman was initially in a relationship with an Igbo man while living with her sister. However, her sister reportedly opposed the relationship and strongly objected to the idea of her continuing the relationship or eventually marrying him.
The disagreement allegedly became so serious that the woman was sent away from her sister’s home, while other members of the family were informed about the relationship.
Following the development, the woman reportedly moved to her mother’s residence, where she later reconnected with a former boyfriend after their previous relationship had ended.
The narrator alleged that the former partner was involved in internet fraud and was financially comfortable at the time. According to the account, the pair resumed their relationship, after which the woman became pregnant and eventually gave birth.
The man claimed that things appeared relatively stable during the first year of the renewed relationship but allegedly changed afterwards, with the woman reportedly subjected to repeated physical abuse.
He further alleged that the partner would sometimes wake the woman from sleep before assaulting her, leading to a pattern of violence within the relationship.
The woman reportedly informed her mother about the alleged abuse, but according to the narrator, she was advised to remain in the relationship and continue enduring the situation.
The account claimed that the woman eventually died during one of the alleged violent incidents. It was reportedly discovered afterwards that she was pregnant again at the time of her death.
The man further claimed that the alleged perpetrator is currently in police custody, while the woman’s mother has been left devastated by the tragic development.
The disturbing account has renewed concerns about domestic violence and the dangers of encouraging victims to remain in abusive relationships rather than seeking immediate protection and support.
