The incident unfolded on Tuesday, January 2, when Governor Sanwo-Olu took matters into his own hands, arresting the soldier and his companions for violating traffic regulations along the Lagos-Badagry route.
In a video that has since gone viral, General Salawu conveyed his dissatisfaction with the governor’s choice of words, particularly taking offense to the soldier being labeled a ‘useless boy.’ The soldier argued that such derogatory remarks were unwarranted, especially when uttered in the presence of civilians.
