According to the charge sheet dated February 24, 2025, DSS alleged that the defendants, along with others still at large, conspired to assault its officers while they were performing official duties.

On February 17, 2025, at the Lagos State House of Assembly, the accused allegedly obstructed DSS operatives without any justifiable reason. They also face charges of cyberstalking, as they reportedly recorded and shared false information on social media, allegedly aimed at inciting unrest.
