These images were released shortly after concerned Nigerians began raising fresh questions about President Tinubu’s whereabouts.

Former presidential spokesperson and prominent journalist, Reuben Abati, had recently raised concerns about the Nigerian president’s location, as President Tinubu had not been seen in public for several days without an official explanation for his absence.

Abati questioned the president’s handlers, urging them to ensure that President Tinubu is visible in the news so that the people of the country can stay informed about his activities.

Abati pointed out that the last public sighting of Tinubu was during the October 1st 63rd independence anniversary celebrations, shortly after his return from an extended trip to New York for the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

It should be noted that President Tinubu’s whereabouts were unknown until his return to Nigeria on Friday night, September 29. While unconfirmed reports suggested that he had traveled to Paris from New York, there was no official confirmation.

During an appearance on the Arise TV Morning Show, Abati highlighted the absence of council meetings, the delayed inauguration of recently screened Ministers, and the lack of action on many urgent government matters. He emphasized that the President had not been participating in official functions or receiving guests at Aso Rock.
