Governor Fubara’s Full Statement:
“My dear people of Rivers State, we are all aware of the recent Supreme Court judgments and pronouncements concerning the ongoing political disputes in our dear State.
“Although we may not agree with the judgments, as a law-abiding government, we are duty-bound to comply with the orders issued therein.
“Since assuming office, we have conducted government affairs within the framework of our Constitution, upholding due process and the rule of law.
“While we acknowledge that we are not infallible, we have not, as a government, intentionally disregarded the principles of constitutional governance.
“Accordingly, I have met with my legal team, who have assured me that the Certified True Copy of the judgment will likely be available by Friday, March 7, 2025.”
