In a video posted by The Aso Villa on Instagram, Tinubu addressed the nation, acknowledging the current difficulties and emphasizing the importance of looking beyond immediate challenges.
He stated, “This period may be hard on us, and it’s undeniable that we are facing tough times. But I encourage everyone to focus on the bigger picture. All our beneficial plans are progressing, and I am confident they will succeed.”
Tinubu acknowledged a delay between the removal of subsidies and the full implementation of these plans but reassured that efforts are being made to bridge this gap.
“I ask for your continued faith in our ability to deliver and in our commitment to your welfare,” he said. “We will overcome this turbulence, and Nigeria will emerge better equipped to seize future opportunities.
