Renowned singer Tiwa Savage recently disclosed that Olamide turned down a ₦100 million offer for a verse on one of her songs. In an Instagram update on Wednesday, Tiwa explained that despite her willingness to pay, Olamide’s management team presented the bill, which he promptly refused.

Tiwa emphasized that Olamide declined payment out of solidarity with the challenges female artists face in the music industry. She expressed gratitude for his supportive nature, describing their relationship as akin to siblings.

“I was negotiating with his management because I knew he would want to do it for free. They quoted ₦100 million, but when Olamide found out, he simply said NO,” Tiwa shared. “He considers me his sister and understands the difficulties women face in this industry. He ended up giving me the verse for free. Good people like Baddo exist,” she added.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview with MTV, Tiwa Savage revealed that her initial ambition was to pursue acting, driven by a crush she had on a man who frequented musicians. This, she said, led her to choose a career in music over acting.

“I’ve always had a passion for acting. It was my first love before music. But I got into music because I had a crush on a guy who was always around musicians,” Tiwa explained.
