She is among seven women named in the initial batch of the list, which was submitted to the Senate on Thursday.

The letter containing the names of 28 nominees was delivered to Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, by Femi Gbajabiamila, the President’s Chief of Staff.

Among the seven women is Betta Edu, the National Women Leader of the APC and a former Commissioner of Health in Cross River State.

Also listed is Hannatu Musawa, a lawyer who currently serves as Special Adviser to Tinubu on Culture and Entertainment Economy.

Stella Okotete, the Executive Director (Business Development) at the Nigeria Export-Import (NEXIM) Bank, is another woman selected by Tinubu for the ministerial role.

Additionally, the list includes Doris Uzoka-Anite, a former Commissioner for Finance and Coordinating Economy in Imo State.

Nkeiruka Onyejocha, a former House of Representatives member for the Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal constituency of Abia State, is also on the list.

Lastly, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, who served as the Director-General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) from December 1, 2020, to May 27, 2021, has been included by the President.”
