Rabiu highlighted the company’s commitment to assisting the government’s endeavors to decrease the prices of essential commodities for Nigerians. As part of this commitment, BUA Cement is launching two additional plants by the end of the year. These plants will be inaugurated by President Bola Tinubu, boosting BUA Cement’s production capacity to a remarkable 17 million metric tons.

This enhanced capacity is expected to significantly influence the price of cement, reducing it to approximately 3500 naira per bag. The move is anticipated to stimulate growth in the construction sector, making housing and infrastructure projects more affordable and accessible to a broader segment of the Nigerian population.
