In a press briefing yesterday, the party disclosed the suspension of the national treasurer, Opara, for allegedly raising concerns to the national chairman, Abure, regarding the missing three billion naira.

Adeyanju expressed his sentiments via his X handle: “We no dey give Shi Shi is the real structure of criminality. The speed with which they suspended that Treasurer.”

He further remarked: “The Treasurer of LPDP, who accused Abure of looting N3.5bn, has been suspended. Even APC & PDP no go get this kind mind. When Betta Edu was accused of paying N500m to a private account, these emergency lovers of Nigeria called for her suspension. Abure should be the one suspended.”

“Those thieves at Labour Party stole billions of Naira donated and millions in dollars, and they still have the audacity to set up a committee to discipline the treasurer who cried out. LP is more corrupt than PDP & APC combined because they are a party of PDP rejects,” he concluded.
