Who’s Really Mad?’ – APC Roasts PDP For Daring 2027 Claims

This response came after the PDP declared that President Bola Tinubu is unfit to contest the 2027 presidential election.

Speaking at a press conference in Abuja, PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, claimed his party is the only one capable of unseating President Tinubu and the APC in 2027. He described Tinubu as a “bad market,” asserting that no Nigerian would support him in the next election.

In reaction, APC’s Director of Publicity, Bala Ibrahim, countered with strong words, asserting that the PDP is in no position to assess the APC or its leadership. He compared the PDP to a mentally unstable individual trying to comment on insanity.

“The insane cannot speak about insanity,” Ibrahim told The Punch. “The PDP is like a patient in the ICU—it lacks the capacity to evaluate the mental state or political worth of anyone. Ordinarily, a sick person is in no place to comment on another’s health.”

He went on to affirm that the APC, under President Tinubu’s leadership, remains the largest and most united political party in Africa, and is steering Nigeria toward prosperity.

“President Tinubu has reignited the hope of Nigerians, and come 2027, millions of patriotic citizens will stand firmly behind him,” Ibrahim said. “Can the PDP say the same? A party that can’t manage its own internal affairs has no credibility to comment on others. That’s the reality of the PDP today.”
