The comedian, a vocal ally of the president, claimed that the current administration has steered Nigeria away from economic collapse. He made the remarks at the APC National Convention 2026 in Abuja on Friday.
According to him, the state of the country’s foreign reserves has significantly improved under Tinubu’s leadership, arguing that Nigeria has moved from a critical financial position to a more stable one.
He also defended major policy decisions of the administration, including the removal of fuel subsidies and the unification of the foreign exchange system, describing them as deliberate steps to address corruption and strengthen the economy.
Seyi Law further highlighted improvements in the education sector, noting reduced disruptions in universities and the introduction of student support initiatives, including loans and stipends aimed at easing financial burdens on students.
