Addressing journalists in Abuja, Olayinka rejected any notion of political targeting, labeling such claims as baseless.

“This is not about politics,” he asserted, adding that similar actions had been taken against other establishments such as Ibro Hotels, Access Bank, the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), and Total Petrol Station.

He further noted,

“The enforcement will continue tomorrow in other locations. This is part of a broader effort targeting over 4,000 properties that have defaulted. It will go on until full compliance is achieved.”

Olayinka stressed that the FCTA was acting within the law, and the process was being carried out objectively and without bias.

“It would be unfair to interpret this as politically motivated simply because the PDP secretariat was affected. Other properties were also sealed under the same exercise,” he said.

Meanwhile, PDP Acting National Chairman Umar Damagum has condemned the action, calling it a blatant assault on the party. He vowed that the party would not take the move lightly, though further steps from the PDP are yet to be disclosed.
