2Baba Sparks Reactions As He Declares End To Getting Women Pregnant
Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has stirred reactions after declaring that he no longer gets women pregnant.
The singer made the remark on Saturday during a live performance at Rehab Lounge in Calgary, Canada, where he paused his rendition of his hit song, True Love, to interact with the audience.
While engaging with the crowd, 2Baba jokingly searched for his true love, asking the women present whether she was standing at the back or somewhere in front of him.
According to Bush Radio Academy, the award-winning musician used the moment to make a humorous but emphatic statement about his experiences with women, claiming that he had stopped impregnating them.
“For the purpose of this show, I will pretend like I’ve never seen anything before. Where’s my true love? Is she back there? Is she right here? Is she somewhere here?” the singer asked while entertaining the audience.
He went on to caution the crowd against getting him into trouble, adding that he had been making the same confession wherever he performed in recent times.
2Baba further stated that although some women might be reluctant to speak openly, he had no hesitation in making his position known, insisting that he no longer engages in behaviour that could result in unwanted pregnancies.
The singer’s remarks come amid continued public interest in his personal life and relationships.
2Baba was previously married to Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay-Idibia, with whom he has two children. The couple announced their separation in January 2025, bringing an end to a relationship that had attracted considerable public attention over the years.
His latest comments during the Canadian performance have added another talking point to discussions surrounding the singer’s romantic life, with his declaration drawing attention from fans and entertainment observers.
