Abubakar Umar, spokesperson for the NCoS, emphasized the release of these details aims to facilitate the recapture of the remaining escapees.
He stated, “In light of the unfortunate incident that led to the breach of the Medium Security Custodial Centre in Suleja, FCT Command, we are publishing the names and images of the escapees. This is crucial for their swift return to custody. We urge sister security agencies and the public to assist in locating these individuals to ensure public safety and national security.
“We assure the public that the NCoS has deployed comprehensive strategies to recover all escapees and bolster security across custodial facilities nationwide to prevent future breaches.”
Citizens are encouraged to report any sightings of the escapees to law enforcement agencies promptly.
