Trusted Friend Accused Of Kidnapping And Murdering Ogun University Student After Ransom Payment....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

A heartbreaking incident unfolded as Christianah Idowu, a 300-level student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), was allegedly kidnapped and killed by someone she considered a friend. After collecting a ransom from her family, the perpetrator, Adeleye Ayomide, a 200-level Philosophy student at Olabisi Onabanjo University, reportedly committed the heinous act.

Christianah had left her home in the Itaoluwo area of Ikorodu, Lagos, to head to the University of Lagos for her industrial training when she was abducted along the Ikorodu-Yaba road. The kidnappers soon contacted her family, demanding a ransom of ₦3 million for her release.

The chilling details were confirmed by social media personality, Man of Letters (@LettertoJack). According to the report, Ayomide, who was known to Christianah, killed her and buried her in his father’s compound after receiving ₦350,000 from the family as ransom.

The timeline of the tragedy began on August 19, 2024, when Christianah was declared missing, and her abductors reached out to her parents via her own WhatsApp account. They shared disturbing images of her captivity and initially demanded ₦1.5 million. The family managed to raise ₦350,000, which was transferred to a betting account specified by the abductors.

Suspicion deepened when, after receiving the money, communication with the family ceased. Subsequent investigations revealed a trail of financial transactions linking Ayomide to the crime. The money withdrawn from Christianah’s account was traced back to Ayomide’s betting account and Wema Bank account. Further evidence was gathered through cell phone tracking and Instagram interactions between the suspect and the victim.

The operatives discovered that Ayomide had used his mobile device to coordinate the ransom and his betting account for laundering the money. When authorities raided his parent’s home in Ikorodu, they found Christianah’s blue Itel A56 phone among his belongings, along with other incriminating evidence.

Ayomide allegedly confessed to the crime, revealing that he had buried Christianah’s body in their home. In a shocking twist, reports suggest that this may not be his first crime, as two other mysterious deaths of women linked to Ayomide have surfaced—his ex-girlfriend in 2018 and his own sister in 2020.

Investigations are ongoing, with further details expected to emerge. The tragic loss of Christianah Idowu has left her family and community devastated.
