His arrival was confirmed by his spokesperson, Stanley Nkwocha, in a statement released on Sunday. During his time in New York, Vice President Shettima delivered Nigeria’s National Statement at the General Debate and participated in several bilateral meetings and various sideline events associated with the General Assembly.
The statement further indicated that Vice President Shettima would join President Bola Tinubu for events celebrating Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary.
