Speaking on Television Continental (TVC) on Sunday, Bwala explained that the government is taking decisive measures to address the root causes of insecurity.

He added that terrorism is a global issue, and international cooperation is essential:

“Since the wake of 9/11, terrorism has been a global concern. Wherever terrorism emerges, it becomes a matter for the world. That is why it is in the international community’s interest to support Nigeria in combating it.

“Terrorist activities have spread from the Middle East towards the Sahel, creating new hubs. Governments worldwide must now explore ways to cooperate with Nigeria.

“At home, the government is implementing far-reaching decisions, and in the coming days, the identities of terrorists and their financiers will be revealed.”
