Kwankwaso made the remark on Sunday during a live interview on Trust TV.

The former Kano State governor said the Kwankwasiyya Movement and the Obidient Movement share similar political beliefs and objectives.

Asked whether Nigerians should expect an Obi-Kwankwaso ticket under the NDC platform, he responded, “I believe so, and looking at the party, I think that is the direction they are considering.”

Kwankwaso explained that recent engagements between both groups revealed strong similarities in their visions for the country.

“Recently, we tried to understand what the Obidients are doing politically and what they hope to achieve for Nigeria. When we compared both movements, we discovered that our goals are almost the same,” he said.

According to him, both movements are committed to improving governance and addressing issues affecting Nigerian youths.

“In simple terms, we want to build a better Nigeria for everyone, especially young people who need greater attention from government,” he stated.

“They are not asking for too much — just access to education, employment opportunities, security, and other basic necessities.”

Kwankwaso also disclosed that policy experts from both camps were already reviewing and comparing their development plans as consultations progressed.

“These are the key issues before us, and we have agreed that experts should study our blueprint and theirs to compare both,” he added.

“We have made significant progress in our discussions, and from what we have seen so far, we share one common objective — making Nigeria a better place.
