An official recall letter authored by Ambassador Tuggar signified the conclusion of Ambassador Ishola’s tenure as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the United Kingdom.
The letter instructed Ishola to “initiate the process of winding down your diplomatic responsibilities, formally bid farewell to your host government within a 60-day timeframe, and ensure your return to Nigeria no later than October 31, 2023.”

“Ambassadors, serving as representatives of the country, operate under the authority of the President, and it is within his prerogative to appoint or recall them from any country.”
