Presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale, speaking on Channels Television’s “Politics Today” program on Monday, stated, “He (Tinubu) is not concerned because he is confident that he won the election.”

“The President sees no need to threaten judicial officers. He believes in the sanctity and integrity of the Nigerian judicial system, and he trusts that the panel’s distinguished members will make their decisions solely based on the facts before them,” Ngelale added.

The Tribunal’s ruling will coincide with President Tinubu’s absence in New Delhi, India, for the G-20 Leaders’ Summit.

Earlier on Monday, the Registrar of the Court of Appeal, Umar Bangari, announced that the Tribunal would deliver judgments on the cases challenging Tinubu’s victory in the February 25, 2023 election, where he ran as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate.

Tinubu’s election is being contested by Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
