Last Tuesday, Governor Sanwo-Olu made headlines by apprehending a soldier and four others who were violating traffic rules on the bustling road. In a video that quickly went viral, the governor was heard referring to the soldier as a “useless boy.”

The incident has sparked criticism from some soldiers who took to social media to express their dissatisfaction with the governor’s actions. This new video features another soldier condemning Governor Sanwo-Olu for arresting a military officer while seemingly ignoring other individuals engaged in similar traffic violations.

In the video, the soldier voiced his discontent, stating, “All the touts you are using in Lagos, you did not arrest them; it is a soldier you are arresting.”

The incident continues to fuel discussions about the enforcement of traffic rules and the selective nature of arrests in Lagos. As social media becomes a platform for these sentiments to be shared, the controversy surrounding Governor Sanwo-Olu’s actions persists.
