Continuing his annual tradition, Niger Delta activist and philanthropist, Chief Ayiri Emami, through the Ayiri Emami Foundation, celebrated Valentine’s Day with the pupils of Ajudaibo Primary School in Warri South West Local Government Area, Delta State—the very school where he once studied.

The event, which took place on Wednesday morning, was a joyous occasion as Chief Ayiri, accompanied by friends, well-wishers, and members of his foundation, embarked on a road walk from his 911 Resort to the school. The walk was lively, with participants singing, dancing, and exchanging pleasantries along the way.

Upon arrival at the school, students and teachers welcomed him with cheers and excitement, expressing gratitude for his continuous support.

A Valentine’s cake-cutting ceremony was held, symbolizing love and unity, after which the students entertained the audience with cultural dance performances. The highlight of the event was the sharing of food, as Chief Ayiri sat with the children to enjoy breakfast together, fostering a strong sense of bonding and affection.

Community elders present at the event took the opportunity to commend Chief Ayiri for his unwavering dedication, not just to the school but to the entire Ajudaibo community.

In his remarks, Chief Ayiri Emami reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the students by providing two complete sets of uniforms, sandals, and school bags for each pupil. He also pledged to complete ongoing projects initiated by his foundation in the school, as well as to sandfill the premises to make it more conducive for learning.

The event concluded on a joyful note, with students, teachers, and the community expressing gratitude for the continued support from Chief Ayiri and the Ayiri Emami Foundation.
