Ngwaba’s remarks came during a conversation with in Umuahia, the state capital, following the Supreme Court’s confirmation of President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 election.
He expressed confidence that, in a similar vein, the chapter anticipates the Supreme Court’s declaration of victory for its gubernatorial candidate, High Chief Ikechi Emenike, in the March 18 election.
Ngwaba encouraged chapter members not to be disheartened by the delay in realizing their mandate, affirming his unwavering belief in a brighter future for the state under Emenike’s leadership, as outlined in his “Rescue And Develop Abia” agenda.
He pledged his loyalty to Emenike as the party leader in the state and to Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu-led executive committee, asserting that they have the potential to elevate the chapter to greater heights.
“With Emenike as our central figure, the chapter will not only maintain its cohesion and focus but will also continue to receive members’ support and maintain its appeal to the people of the state.
